ASUS released a teaser of ZenFone 6 on its official Twitter account and left some questions on the air. The certainty, it seems, is that the device will offer a screen almost without borders. The screen will occupy almost 100% of the front panel. And it will not resort to any kind of notch.
However, one question remains in the air. Where is the selfie camera? The possibilities include a retractable camera. That’s another fashion which some Asian companies have adopted in recent years. Or a front camera positioned at the base of the device. As Xiaomi has done in some of its devices.

More likely, however, is that the company even adopt a retractable camera, and one of the stakes in that regard is the use of sliding panels. In April, @evleaks flasher posted an image of a ZenFone concept created by a ZenFone 5 designer in which both the front camera and the speaker were hidden in a sliding panel.

Who knows, this will be the bet of ASUS for its next generation of smartphones? The company announces ZenFone 6 on May 16.
