If you are in WhatsApp groups, you are likely to have received a stream today talking about a command that can display the list of members of a direct group in the field of new messages in the app.
“Did you know? That when you type T * @ (all together) without submitting, do you have a list of all the names that are in this group? KNOWLEDGE IS GOOD TO FACILITATE Surprise another group by sharing”, says the text that viralized in the messenger.
However, the thing is simpler than it looks and just type @ in the text at any time (at the beginning, middle or end of a message) so that the menu with all the members of a group is displayed. Then just click on the one you want to mention and that’s it.
In fact, this functionality has been in the air since 2016 , when the messenger adopted the mentions system in groups. This feature works on all existing versions of WhatsApp – desktop, web and mobile – and can make it much easier to quote specific people in the middle of a galley.
