By now you should be well aware of the suspension imposed by Trump on Chinese companies. It involves several US companies, like Google. So The Mountain View company will no longer support its Android-related services on Huawei devices. The Chinese have been preparing for this scenario for some time now. And they would even have their own alternative Play Store.
Data came from five people and an internal document from Huawei.
According to the Bloomberg, there is evidence that the eastern company has been building its own Application Store in the doldrums in recent months. In early 2018, Huawei brought together developers to help them enter the Chinese smartphone market. The result was software developed especially for the App Gallery. It is already present in their devices, including Honor.

This came from five people and internal documents. Also, it shows the Asian giant’s interest in expanding penetration into Europe. This accounts for 20% of its market share in 22 countries. These countries include Spain, Italy and the Netherlands.
Well, with the imminent end of Google updates and Huawei’s “Plan B” drawing, one would expect the Chinese really to try to create its ecosystem. The problem will be for consumers to accept their new proposal. This may not count on other popular North American apps ( Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, etc). We are waiting for the next episodes.
