Folding smartphone fever is starting. With more palpable announcements of these devices. And now Huawei promised to present its model even earlier than Samsung. It now promises to show its 5G folding cell phone later this month, Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, Spain.
The Chinese is keen to highlight the flexible device in the image of the official invitation to the event, see below:

Regarding the device, it should use Huawei’s first 5G commercial modem, the Balong 5,000. That is the company’s response to the Qualcomm Snapdragon X50 5G. The hardware should have the Kirin 980 7 nm processor. It’s the same as the Mate 20 Pro. This, in fact, should serve as the basis for this yet unnamed prototype – Mate Flex, Mate Flexi, Mate Fold, Mate F?
It is possible that this flexible phone comes with the M-Pen, the Mate 20 X stylus. And, as you can see in the renders below, designed by the Dutch website Lets Go Digital, the device should be used in normal size as a smartphone with back screen, as a tablet and as a small stand-up monitor.
The doubts will be taken on the 24th of this month, during MWC 2019. We will be there to check, so stay with us to know everything.
