A leak could have brought to light the data of the possible main chip of the future PlayStation 5: an AMD system-on-chip.
The new design would include in a unified chip CPU and GPU with AMD design. Thus, following the line of the PlayStation 4. And this track could also be relevant to Microsoft’s plans. As they will also continue working with AMD as has happened with Xbox One.

Microsoft already works with AMD
Speaking of Microsoft is something that they themselves confirmed publicly. But strictly Sony has not yet confirmed that it will work with AMD for its next generation of consoles.
Everything seems to indicate that the console will use AMD technology with Zen + generation processor (instead of Zen 2). So it would not use the most advanced aspect of the company. Logically, the objective would be to reduce costs in order to reach a reasonable price in the final product.
We must consider that the new Sony and Microsoft consoles have been in design since before the Zen 2 architecture of AMD was closed. Despite this, the data suggested by this serial number would be positive. It would be a CPU with 8 cores that could offer 16 threads of execution (2 per core). That would already mean a remarkable progression with respect to PS4 Pro.
The CPU would run at 3.2GHz in boost with a base speed of 1GHz. For its part, the graphics card would be a Navi 10. This is aligned with other recent rumors about the GPU that would have been valued for the console.
Keep in mind, all this is still speculation about a leak that we do not know if it can be reliable. So we will have to continue waiting for official data from Sony or AMD, which could occur throughout of this year.
